VITAS hospice team members visit patients wherever they call home (private home, nursing home, assisted living community, long-term care facility, etc.) in Broward County, including the Fort Lauderdale area. VITAS offers integrative services including aromatherapy, art, music therapy, reiki, massage and pet visits. Our liaisons work with veterans who are VITAS patients, helping obtain benefits when eligible. We offer local child bereavement peer support groups with our partners at the Children's Bereavement Center, and we are accredited by the National Institute for Jewish Hospice and the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education.
